About BrewTrack

BrewTrack started with a simple, familiar problem: ordering a coffee should be easy, but knowing what’s actually in it rarely is. Menus list dozens of possible combinations of size, milk, syrup, shots and toppings, and the calorie difference between two versions of the “same” drink can be enormous. We built BrewTrack around a single idea — a fast, free Starbucks calorie counter that reflects how people actually order coffee, not just a single default recipe.

Why We Built This

Most nutrition information for coffee shop menus is published as static tables: one row per drink, one set of default ingredients, one calorie number. That works fine if you always order exactly the standard recipe, but almost nobody does. People swap milks, add or remove syrup pumps, ask for extra shots, and skip or add whipped cream constantly. A static table can’t keep up with that level of customization, and doing the math by hand every time is tedious enough that most people just don’t bother.

We wanted something different: a calculator that lets you build your order the same way you’d build it at the counter, and see the numbers update instantly as you go. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, no signing up for an account just to check how many calories are in your afternoon latte.

What Makes BrewTrack Different

Built around real orders. Instead of a single number per drink, our calculator breaks down calories, sugar, protein, carbohydrates and fat by component — base drink, size, milk, syrup, shots, whipped cream and toppings — so you can see exactly what’s contributing to your total and adjust accordingly.

Fast and transparent. Every calculation happens instantly in your browser as you make selections. There’s no page reload, no waiting, and no hidden formula.

Genuinely free. There’s no paywall, no account requirement, and no limit on how many times you can use the calculator.

Actively maintained. Coffee shop menus change with the seasons, and we periodically review and update our drink and ingredient database to keep it current and useful.

Our Approach to Accuracy

We build our nutrition figures from publicly available information and standard recipe measurements for each component of a drink or food item. Because coffee shop recipes and portions can vary slightly by region, and because official nutrition guides are periodically updated, we recommend treating our numbers as a close, practical estimate rather than a certified clinical figure. If you have a specific medical condition that requires precise nutrient tracking, we always encourage cross-checking against official nutrition documentation from the retailer directly.

Who BrewTrack Is For

Our visitors come to BrewTrack for a wide range of reasons: some are counting calories as part of a weight management goal, others are tracking macronutrients for athletic training, and many are simply curious what their daily coffee order actually costs them nutritionally. Whatever your reason for checking, our goal is the same — give you a clear, quick, judgment-free answer so you can make the choice that’s right for you.

Independent and Unaffiliated

BrewTrack is an independent nutrition information resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Starbucks Corporation or any other coffee retailer referenced on this site. All trademarks, drink names and brand names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used here solely for nutrition reference and comparison purposes. Our illustrations, design, code and written content are entirely original.

Looking Ahead

We’re continuing to expand BrewTrack beyond the calorie and nutrition calculators, with a growing set of practical, free tools designed the same way: fast, transparent, and built around how people actually use them day to day. You can find upcoming tools under the Tools menu as they’re released.
